Automation Manufacturing Engineer - Swing Shift

Description

Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supports automation aspects of consumable product manufacturing process
2. Works with vendors to optimize product performance and recommend new technologies
3. Collects, analyzes, and reports data to determine performance of the product
4. Builds relationships both internally and externally as a member of a cross-functional team
5. Troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
6. Assisting with NCR investigations, write-ups, and product dispositions
7. Identifying previously unknown process variables, implementing best practices and corrective actions
8. Performs FMEA to identify root causes of problems and present possible solutions
9. Contributes to solving complex manufacturing engineering problems
10. Makes design and technical decisions subject to review by Manufacturing Engineering Manager
11. Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of BioFire Diagnostics’ Quality System.
12. Generates variety of technical documentation including WIDs, technical reviews, studies, and executive summaries.
13. Performs primary duties in a clean room environment.
14. Develops and executes validation of new equipment and processes consistent with FDA standards
