Responsibilities:
We are looking for Instrument Repair Technicians to join our day shift or swing team.- Troubleshooting and repair of clinical and commercial products.
- Operates electrical and mechanical test equipment.
- Performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical operations on assemblies or sub assemblies.
- Works on assignments where judgment and initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Qualifications:
Position requires an Associates degree in technical discipline and/or related on the job training or certifications with 2-4 years experience. Must be able to use specialized equipment, read instructions, maintain written records, and work from established drawings. Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Experience with soldering, oscilloscope usage a plus.
In lieu of a degree, candidates with 1+ years of experience at BioFire Diagnostics/bioMerieux in a related role will also be considered.
Day shift hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Swing shift hours are 3:00 pm to 12:00 am
Schedules are set as 9/8/80 .
