Instrument Repair Technician

BioFire Diagnostics is looking for Instrument Repair Technicians to join our day shift or swing team. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of clinical and commercial products.
• Operates electrical and mechanical test equipment.
• Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical operations on assemblies or sub assemblies.
• Works on assignments where judgment and initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

Studies and Experience:

• Position requires an Associates degree in technical discipline and/or related on the job training or certifications with 2-4 years experience.
• In lieu of a degree, candidates with 1+ years of experience at BioFire Diagnostics in a related role will also be considered.

Skills and Qualifications:
Must be able to use specialized equipment, read instructions, maintain written records, and work from established drawings.
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
Experience with soldering, oscilloscope usage a plus. 

Day shift hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Swing shift hours are 3:00 pm to 12:00 am
Schedules are set as 9/8/80 .
