What will be your responsibilities within bioMérieux ? 

 

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:

Accountable for developing and managing all Quality transversal processes, tools and metrics across the quality organization and ensuring overall compliance of global QMS

Accountable for driving and coordinating  strategic quality transversal initiatives as well as for providing support on specific Quality projects across the organization

Accountable to provide functional leadership to business support function QMRs : IS, Purchasing, HR and finance

Accountable to watch regulation standards and implement 

Member of the Quality Board.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Drive the implementation of efficient & harmonized quality processes, ensure optimized & appropriate tools availability for the Quality community, ensure compliant documentation and efficient training programs are available  meeting business needs and guaranteeing overall compliance to to relevant standards and regulations
  • Responsible for a quality PMO function to provide overview of all projects to Quality Board and ensuring proper priorization and execution. Drive and coordinate  specifically the execution of the Quality Roadmap and monitor progress of Quality objectives at global level.
  • Deliver Quality Score metrics as per business needs and drive improvement across the organization
  • Manage the execution of the Executive Committee Quality management review and coordinate the Quality Board
  • Animate and functionally lead IS, Purchasing, HR and Finance QMRs and aligned objectives and priorities with their respective business heads
  • Organize regulatory standard watch and adapt accordingly the quality solutions/processes within the organization
  • Establish and monitor the budget and Quality resources within scope of responsibilities. Propose adjustment in the organization when needed.
  • Recruit, train and develop the teams and ensure adequate competencies are in place at all levels of the organization

 

Who are you ?

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Master, PhD degree with > 15 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in related industry (life science, MD, IDV, Pharma)
  • Significant proven managerial experience required in a multicultural environment

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates good leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing multicultural teams
  • Experience in participation in the management of regulatory audits (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS, FDA, OSHA, EPA, etc.) and in managing vigilance operations
  • Expert knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant Domestic and International Regulations within the scope of responsibility
  • Strong process orientation and project management skills
  • Understanding of existing and emerging IT Quality landscape
