Position Summary:

The Associate Application Specialist will provide technical support, training, troubleshooting, and consultation to internal and external customers for the diagnostic test systems marketed by bioMerieux.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries per established guideline and document in ERP system; consult as appropriate with Application Specialist, System Engineer, Management, Global Customer Support, and Customer Complaint Management Center
  • Develop problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the investigative process
  • Learn bioMerieux products and procedures that are job specific, drafting documentation as needed
  • Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators
  • Attend departmental meetings as required

 

Studies/Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • Minimum of three years of Microbiology laboratory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with bioMerieux products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
