What will be your mission ?


The Senior E-Commerce Project Manager will lead the E-commerce initiative considered as one of the key strategic initiative for the company as part of the Digital Transformation Program.  This role will capture Business and Customer Needs, Co-Develop the Omni channel Strategy, design and implement the E Commerce solution while adapting processes in order to create a seamless user experience (online and offline) and modernizing the way bioMérieux is offering its products and services worldwide.

The Senior E-Commerce Project Manager will need to take into account all aspects of the projects under the scope of 2 main phases – Business Strategy development and phase 2 operational execution and deployment.  Each phase should consider including people, processes and technologies to execute the offering of development content, analytics, promotion, pricing, customer acquisition and retention, and customer experience at all touchpoints throughout the customer buying journey.


In addition, she/he will work closely with the different functions required with the leadership of the Digital Transformation, especially in terms of change and to ensure the seamless customer experience.   This first phase of this mission is anticipated for 6-12 months with a second phase more operational in nature for the remaining 12-18 months.  The mission will remain until the end of 2022 and evaluation of the work for the future will be assessed as part of the second phase of the project.


Your main responsabilities : 

  • Be the E-Commerce Project Manager for the group and coordinate with all relevant  Programs to ensure a good implementation of the project
  • Build the Governance and animate the various layers inside the projects; adjusting as phasing evolves
  • Build in collaboration with the different departments (Clinical Ops /Industry / Supply Chain / Finance / HR / …)  and the Information Systems department - a planning with milestones
  • Collaborate closely with global, regional and local businesses (cross-functional) ,teams to design and implement an Omni channel ordering strategy that reaches diverse stakeholders in multiple market segments, positively impacts business performance, and enhances bioMérieux online presence and reputation.
  • Benchmarking competition, capture B2B best practices and share insights for consideration
  • Strong Communication and Change Management practices across all levels of the project



Who are you?


  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations Management or similar relevant formal business education/training.
  • 8+ years’ experience managing global projects with complex interdependencies and strategic ambitions
  • Previous experience in Multi-channel/Omni-channel strategy development and execution – inclusion of e-commerce, commercial model development - content marketing, Marketing Promotions, is beneficial but not required
  • Relevant B2B commercial experience or order channel strategy development or oversight, ideally in life sciences or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, value of data and mindset to infuse data driven decisions into the organization, algorithmic skills and knowledge is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work within deadlines, professionally managing competing priorities.
  • Experience with E-commerce platforms (e.g. SalesForce Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Magento) and digital ordering channels in general.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization in multinational companies would be advantageous.
