Our French Subsidiary is looking for a Field Service Engineer Expert to join the Clinical Operations Customer Service Department on a permanent contract. You will report to the Field Service Operations Manager within a team of 8 co-workers.  

 

The position will be attached administratively to Craponne. The location is open, in metropolitan France.

 

What will be your mission at bioMerieux?

  • Be the technical contact for the platers and incubators (WASP, WASPLAB) and microbiology (VITEK 2) product lines

  • Be the key contact for interfacing with internal transversal departments (e.g. customer relationship center (CRC), global customer service, procurement...)

  • Develop the skills of the CRC staff and the Field Service Engineers (FSE)

  • Provide field interventions to our customers

  • Manage customer crisis situations

  • Manage notifications coming from the customer service

  • Participate in the process of bringing our systems to market

  •  Participate in company projects related to your position

 

Who are you?

  • Master's degree in electronics / electrical engineering / electromechanics

  • 6-8 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer (FSE)

  • Knowledge of the medical environment. Knowledge of the in vitro diagnostic field would be a plus

  • Real customer orientation, with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to create and maintain relationships of trust with your interlocutors

  • Ability to manage crisis situations, with great availability and flexibility

  • Operational level of English and French (read, written, spoken)

  • 50% of your time will be spent travelling throughout France
