Industry Business Director, Greater China

Location: Shanghai, China

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

The Industry Business Director is responsible for leading the team to achieve sales, market share, expense, profit targets and own the full P&L responsibility in Greater China.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Establishing and achieving sales, market share, and profit targets within the designated market;
Respecting the operational expenses budget & overall profit for the team and the whole company;
Leading the development of bioMérieux’s relationship with customers;
Communicate and liaise with global and regional marketing; liaise with external providers (advertising, public relations, market research, Government departments, etc);
Monitor and report on sales & marketing strategies; prepare, implement and modify, when necessary, an annual Sales & Marketing Plan;
Team leadership (recruitment, retention, engagement, appraisal, training & development, mentoring, motivation, renewal);
To ensure the success of “BIND” project led by Industry Unit: Represent China in working group and support action plan implementation;
Keep a good collaboration with local country organization to ensure the smooth support.

KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or above in science, business related

At least 8-10 years experience in Sales and/or Marketing in a related industry

People & Sales Management experience

Proficiency in database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software

Strong communication & analytical skills
