In-house Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for an In house System Engineer to join our Customer Service team! This role will ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to service profitability by providing remote technical support & services which includes troubleshooting and field action completion to guarantee the best remote fix rate. The System Engineer will also identify, anticipate and act in order to avoid any disruption affecting customers and patients.

This position will require presence in our Brussels office (hybrid working policy).


What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux ?

 

  • Answer internal/external customer simple to complex inquiries per established guidelines, document the ERP system according company standards and regulations.
  • Lead launch/implementation of new systems by learning new products, develop documentation
  • Lead the troubleshooting analysis; plan the action response; follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Report all events in the CRM to guarantee traceability and customer complain tracking
  • Drive new bioMérieux products and procedures that are job specific, create documentation and troubleshooting protocols; provide training as needed
  • Participate in revenue generation initiatives through promotion of value added projects and services depending on local organization

 

Who are you?

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering (electronic computer/biotechnology) with 3 to 5 years’ experience
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Self driven, you are able to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and numerical accuracy as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Solution oriented and service minded approach
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French would be a plus
