Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager, Digital Health plays a lead role in the Go-to-Market process encompassing the development and execution of marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics that support core marketing objectives for the bioMerieux High Medical Value (HMV) product portfolio and the associated Digital Solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to facilitate the commercialization of innovative digital solutions that support our HMV product portfolio.

 

Market Assessment & Business Acumen

  • Assess market trends and sales performance and in assigned business area
  • Track and monitor in-market competition; identify competitive threats and data gaps
  • Evaluate pricing effectiveness of the bioMerieux portfolio and digital solutions
  • Monitor and validate customer behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes
  • Identify market research and business intelligence needs
  • Apply market research and competitive analysis to evaluate market opportunities
  • Conduct market research initiatives

 

Marketing Initiatives & Execution

  • Drive new product launches and associated go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate and conduct scientific and clinical advisory board meetings
  • Develop, execute and manage marketing tactics and programs
  • Lead and conduct sales and marketing training to our field force(s)
  • Tradeshows and promotional events- develop content and programming to drive attendance; participate and attend national congresses, meet with existing customers; generate leads 
  • Product forecasting  

 

Strategic Marketing & Brand Plan

  • Develop brand objectives, strategies, and tactics that incorporate our HMV product portfolio and digital solutions. 
  • Develop a comprehensive messaging strategy to drive HMV product utilization
  • Create sales tools and marketing collateral, both digital and print, to achieve corporate objectives
  • Generate all-new product collateral and messaging specific to the HMV digital solution product offering
  • Conduct Sales Programs to generate field force excitement and to drive sales of our product offering
  • Pricing Strategy

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or business-related field required; MBA or other post-graduate degree in Health Sciences preferred
  • At least 3 years of successful product management experience preferably with diagnostic or medical products including product launches.
  • Experience with marketing digital clinical solutions a plus.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  •  
  • Working knowledge of marketing regulated clinical diagnostics in the field of infectious disease or diagnostic biomarkers.
  • Knowledge of clinical molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, or virology is highly desired.
  • Ability to translate clinicians’ diagnostic needs into executable messages.
  • Physician / HCP marketing experience; digital marketing experience a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers some complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Interacts and presents technical/clinical information to audience with various levels of scientific experience.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and contact management databases.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Domestic travel required 20% of time
