Our French subsidiary is looking for a Molecular Biology Product Manager to join the Clinical Marketing Department under a permanent contract.

You will report to the Clinical Marketing Director France within a team of 13 employees


What will be your mission at bioMérieux?

  • Ensure the business development of our clinical Molecular Biology product ranges: the Argene and the BioFire range (in collaboration with another BioFire product manager)

  • Develop the 3-year strategic plan

  • Carry out the action plans necessary to achieve the financial objectives (sales and profitability) and image development of the range

  • Accompany sales representatives on sales projects, helping them to investigate in depth the customers’ processes and needs

  • Ensure the launch of new innovative solutions as well as the follow-up of the products’ life cycle

  • Develop sales pitches, studies, promotional materials and product communication, and define the commercial strategy (prices and margins)

  • Maintain regular contact with local internal partners as well as regional and global structures (Marketing, R&D, etc.) in order to gather information on the competition, trends and needs of the French market

  • Be the guarantor of product knowledge (technical and market) and train our sales teams and other internal departments

  • Actively participate in VIP customer visits

  • Develop and maintain a network of reference customers and opinion leaders


Who are you?

  • 5 years of higher education in the scientific/medical field, ideally with a double degree in a business school

  • Knowledge of molecular biology required

  • 5 years of experience in a sales/marketing position in the health sector

  • Knowledge of medical biology laboratories and healthcare institutions would be a plus

  • You are dynamic with a creative mind

  • You have a customer orientation and a business spirit

  • You are a team player and easily integrate into a new environment

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • You have a fluent level of English

  • 20-30% of travelling is expected
