The purpose of this job is to oversee the strategic positioning, the value proposition and the go to market of our BIOBALL® and Identifications solutions for the industrial pharmaceutical and food applications in the Americas region. This includes the management of the solutions (instruments, reagents, software…) and services related to microbial ID (VITEK 2® COMPACT, API®, PREVI® Color, VITEK EXPRESS…) and reference materials for quality control (BIOBALL®) for the Industry business.
Identify growth potential and key segments that correspond to the strategic objective in the Americas region in order to contribute to the marketing and commercial objective for the Region.
Create marketing tools for the Region in order to demonstrate the value proposition.
Develop new business models in conjunction with cross functional internal and external teams in order to answer new market needs.
Elaborate communication strategy related to reference materials for quality control and identification testing for Industry clients in the Region
Build regional Go to Market strategy for reference materials as well as identification services and solutions in the region and prepare launches with local team.
Studies and Experience:
BS in a Science / Business related field.
MBA is desirable although not required.
Experience in microbiology is a plus
Skills and Qualifications:
Full Professional Proficiency in English required. Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
This position requires overnight travel both domestically and sometimes internationally.
