As Manufacturing Digitalization Engineer, you will be part of a challenging digital transformation project, within an industrial plant for in-vitro diagnostic equipment. The scope of this project is to implement a digital platform aimed to :
monitor and manage manufacturing activity execution in real-time,
digitize product data captured during assembly and testing phase, enabling for data analytics
provide operators with digital access to technical documentation
simplify workforce management (workforce capability, operator skills and qualifications)
manage non-conformities of raw materials
What will be your missions at bioMérieux?
Map the manufacturing process in order to define the architecture and data workflow that will be managed with a frontline digital platform (platform already selected)
Apply lean principles to identify opportunities for simplifying and improving the current manufacturing process
Develop APPs (applications) with a simple and intuitive visual elements programming tool (no coding required, drag-and-drop graphical interface)
Define the database structure, that will be used to record data related to manufacturing activity and products
Collaborate with the digital platform vendor to identify optimized system architecture solutions
Collaborate and make synergies with other bioMérieux sites located in US and France
ROI 4.0 assessment (return on investment)
Liaise with IT team in order to build interfaces with ERP (SAP)
Contribute to process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Who are you?
BSc or MSc in Industrial Engineering area; Informatics or bio-medical Engineering with interest into manufacturing operations
Proficiency with manufacturing processes, validations, lean principles is considered a plus
Good analytical skills and system thinking attitude
Proactive and self-starter
Attitude for digital innovation
Able to communicate with different stakeholders, at different levels, inside and outside the company
You are fluent in English and ideally, you have some basics knowledge of Italian.
