The Marketing Project Manager position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and is not a remote assignment.

 

Position Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager provides needed project leadership to coordinate assigned marketing projects related to bioMerieux/BioFire clinical diagnostic products. This includes facilitating the development, planning, and implementation of marketing plans, special programs,  and product launches utilizing project management methodology.


Main Accountabilities:

  1. Project manager for different marketing projects, including but not limited to product launches, process improvements, promotional events, specific customer facing programs, updating and creating marketing SOPs, etc.
  2. Implement project management processes as necessary, development and monitoring of KPIs, including post-project assessments
  3. Manage the Promotional Speaker’s Program
  4. Support Product Marketing Managers with execution of marketing strategy and tactics in support of business and brand objectives
  5. Manages/oversees databases for tracking and trending programs and events including lead conversion, sales cycle, budget reconciliation, and other metrics
  6. Serve as a key liaison with Compliance, Purchasing, Sales, Creative Innovations, Legal, Quality Assurance, Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, and other external partners.
  7. Manage submission of paperwork with Quality for release of promotional materials (e.g., LRM and RACM)
  8. Perform general project management duties and other duties as assigned

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related field required
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Project management certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of like industry experience preferred
  • Minimum of one year project management experience required

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented with an action-oriented (results matter) attitude required
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) required
  • Experience with regulated medical products and understanding of clinical diagnostics preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and project management methodology to influence others required
