Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Technical Applications and Deployment, Health Information Solutions & Services Team, within the US Clinical Sales Organization, the CLARION Project Manager, in alliance with the Lead CLARION Project Manager, partners with a team of resources to deliver the CLARION solution to BIOMÉRIEUX customers providing Lab Insights built upon an Advanced Analytics Platform and Infrastructure.  The CLARION Project Manager ensures successful delivery of complex implementation projects on time and within budget.  This includes management, support, monitoring and controlling of all assigned implementations of BIOMÉRIEUX’s CLARION solution.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Leveraging internal solutions such as Clarizen and Jira, follow Best Practice procedures in accordance with the existing CLARION Project Plan
  • In support of the Lead CLARION Project Manager, provide daily/weekly updates in preparation for monthly leadership review meetings
  • Facilitate direct communication with major stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
  • Integrate into client environment to effectively lead project teams while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
  • Gather, formulate, and escalate feedback from customers’ needs/requirements or market inputs to the appropriate teams.
  • Facilitate and lead effective project meetings, manage change and conflict, and develop resource planning estimates to manage project workload and productivity.
  • Maintain authority and control of projects while ensuring accountability of all stakeholders.
  • Manage projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding project management standards.
  • Define project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure a project or activity.
  • Plan, schedule, and control project activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 Support to Local US Customers and elevate the need for Global support to Level 3 and Level 4 as needs arise
  • Establish and manage critical IT pre-sales calls to review potential customers IT Security and Networking requirements as well as to present available bioMerieux options to meet customers’ IT needs
  • Support Sales and Marketing to address potential customers IT Security and Networking requirements; ex. IT/Security Questionnaires


Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, science/ business related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management certification is preferred or a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience managing projects

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work independently, effectively multitask to meet deadlines and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Project management software tools
  • Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office programs.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, excellent verbal and written capabilities through previous experiences such as teaching, sales, or management.
  • Exhibit good decision-making ability, including problem resolution.
  • Employs the expertise of others and provides expertise in a team environment
  • Outstanding and effective communication skills to produce delighted reference customers
  • Experience in analyzing customer’s business needs and Laboratory product/system integration objectives to coordinate and manage the delivery of complex solutions to meet customer’s needs
  • Experience in following, maintaining, and improving the implementation methodology
  • Experience with Middleware (MW), Instrument Data Manager or Work Area Manager, or Clinical Information System Implementation Projects is a plus
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) communication protocols, such as HL7, and an understanding of interoperability in the Healthcare space is a plus
  • Minimal travel required
  • Security Experience – moderate / discussion level
