Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:


Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Manager is responsible for supporting  the  implementation of Marketing Action Plan. Enthusiastic, positive and collaborative, the candidate will support in digital communication, marketing materials and Showpad  platform update and products life cycle management such as phase in phase out . He/she will actively participate into the Marketing, Sales Force meetings.

To manage and promote the ImmunoAssays bioMérieux products/service related offer. It consist in implementing the marketing strategy ensuring growth and profitability for bioMérieux, by taking into account the various regulatory and legal constraints, linked to the market. To monitor the sales budget and ensure the right positioning of the product based on a strong knowledge of the competitors offer and the market.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Marketing Action Plan (i.e. M4I) supporting implementation in collaboration with Senior Product Manager.

  • Digital marketing activities (e.g. e-communication for launch of new products, acquisitions, clearance, events,… ) and translation of promotional material in collaboration with Marketing team and Digital Marketing.

  • Support and implement the organization of marketing events/activities mainly in Italy (National-Local Congresses, Meetings, Workshops, Trainings). Company car is provided.

  • Product life cycle management (e.g. PPO, TPP ,item creation..).

  • Support Senior Product Manager on ad hoc projects implementation.

  • Delivery and follow up of the Marketing Action Plan

  • Analyze and monitor sales evolution (use of CRM, develop dashboards etc) and top customers to guide sales to new opportunity and mitigate threats

  • Lead the development of market research reports providing team guidance and insights

  • Study and analyze the existing and new competitors offers in order to support Senior Product Manager to create opportunities of growth to sharpen the positioning and differentiation of the bioMérieux offer.

  • Manage and forecast activity mainly for Italy and support Supply Chain in the management of critical products and APO.

  • Support and contribute to the regular updates of the tender dossiers

  • Be accountable for technical review of Product Labelling translations requested by Corporate PLD according to the lines of competence.


Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Biology or scientific degree is required for the role, additional experience in marketing and/or project management will be a plus.

  • A previous experience in the healthcare sector might be a plus.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills to all levels of the organization (technical, sales, management) – effectively communicate across numerous functional areas and strong public presentation skills required.

  • Must be analytical, articulate, organized and self-starter with strong sense of accountability and follow through.
