Reporting to Iberia Customer Service Manager and in close relation with EMEA/Corporate teams, as a Lab Consultancy Specialist for Iberia cluster you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of bioMérieux Clinical solutions implementation objectives in adherence with the company methodology, through management of all project dimensions: Scope, Time, Team, Quality & Performance to meet customer´s full satisfaction, as well as providing operational Marketing support to enhance and differentiate the value of Lab Consultancy solutions in Iberia.

 

What will be your mission?

  • Gain an understanding of the specific laboratory´s workflow, analyses and recommend improvement opportunities in our customers lab workflow based on Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
  • Manage the most suitable setup/configuration for the proposed solution in terms of technology, process, & resources through different stakeholders input collection.
  • Own project implementation objectives, and key success factors defined during the project definition phase; design the project scope, deadlines and roles. Define the project plan including critical milestones from launch to closing to ensure the customer´s full satisfaction.
  • Implement the project activities in adherence with company objectives. Define, monitor and report on project steps. Identify and mitigate potential risks to project implementation.
  • Coordinate a transversal team; organize the main activities and roles of team members. Confirm resource requirements and discuss necessary adjustments with different department managers to ensure availability and accomplish our customer commitments to ensure milestones are met.
  • Confirm the customer’s needs and fit with the proposed solution, define precisely the scope of the project, the deliverables, the timing, the associated costs and resources requirements and produce all associated documentation.
  • Identify, train and implement change management in response to business needs.
  • Actively collaborate with the product managers to define and implement the Marketing Plan of the products/brands under his/her responsibility and contribute to the achievement of the business objectives of the allocated Product/Brand range through tactical and operational Product /Brand Marketing activities, with a high focus on external communication, contacts with opinion leaders and scientific associations, surveys, workshops, success stories, symposiums and local teams trainings.

 

Who are you?

  • Master’s degree in engineering or any other related topic.
  • 2 yrs. of experience in project management. 
  • Lean / Six Sigma methodology experience will be a plus.
  • Strong team player skills, able to interact with multidisciplinary teams and work in a matrix environment.
  • Customer Service acumen, ability to solve complex problems and strong internal / external customer orientation.
  • Good communication and presentation skills and ability to deliver complex information into a simplified manner for different audiences.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good command of English level, Spanish will be required, Portuguese will be a plus.

 

 

Role based in Madrid, Barcelona or Lisboa with availability to travel (40%) throughout Spain and/or Portugal plus other destinations for training or specific projects.
