Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical and scientific support to bioMérieux internal and external customers. He/she will ensure effective utilization of bioMérieux solutions (Immunology, Microbiology and Molecular) in clinical laboratories and healthcare institutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical training and support on bioMérieux solutions (Immunology, Microbiology and Molecular)
- Answer internal & external customer inquiries and concerns
- Timely and efficient coordination of instrument installations and evaluations
- Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet KPIs
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen customer relationship and develop/retain business
- Maintain and update knowledge base to meet customer and company requirements
- Perform troubleshooting and investigation of level 1 technical complaints
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all customer inquiries, troubleshooting/investigation, service activities and installed base updates in CRM
- Support communication of product and system updates to customers
- Ensure implementation of field actions (corrective and preventive actions) in respective territory
- Provide recommendations regarding system utilization in order to optimize the workflow, address three dimensions: technical, quality and productivity
- Promote bioMérieux solutions through product demonstration, evaluations and onsite visits
- Enable bioMérieux customer in fully utilizing the technical potential of the solutions (interpretation of results, specimen management, workflow optimization, best practice sharing and local User Group Meetings)
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Medical Technology, Microbioloy, Molecular Biology or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in clinical laboratory preferably in Microbiology and/or Molecular Biology sections
- Knowledge of bioMérieux reagents, instruments and customers, and good knowledge of the scientific/medical environment of the products is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of competitors and their products
- Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication – able to teach/ present to scientific community
- Good time management, results oriented and customer focused
- Willing to travel 70% locally
