Area Sales Manager

Location: Guangzhou, China
Position Type: Fixed-Term

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

  1. Specifically covering regions/segments: Coordinating and leading the Clinical/Industrial teams and promote all the relevant products in the regions/segments;
  2. Pursue the short-term sales target and the long-term company development by providing integrated solutions to the segments;
  3. Work close with regional sales manager and distributors to achieve sales goals.


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Own excellent products and academic knowledge in the segments;
  2. Follow all the sales activities in the region and accountable for the sales target assigned;
  3. Prepare sales and promotion plan to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made;
  4. Identify and establish 1st and 2nd tier distributor network in the region and direct interaction with sub-dealers;
  5. In charge of the promotions of integrated solutions for infectious diseases in T2 market;
  6. Create own relationship with key customers and maintain local CARSS contact;
  7. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to relevant colleagues;
  8. Responsible for the customer satisfaction survey locally


KNOWLEDGE, LANGUAGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or above majoring in Public Health Management/Medical Diagnosis/life science or relevant fields
  • Above 7 years of working experience in sales promotions targeting related segments; strong distribution network management experience
  • Good command of English both reading and writing
  • Good computer and communication skills
  • Capability to work under pressure, self-initiative, objective oriented, leadership skills
  • Travel in the region
