Position Summary-
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) role within US Clinical Marketing team will be managing several software solutions developed for data management, infectious disease surveillance and lab workflow capabilities across bioMérieux’s market specialties, including Immunoassay, Molecular, and Microbiology instrumentation and analyzers. The software offerings to be managed may include CLARION™,MYLA®, EPISEQ®, FIREWORKS, TRENDS, VILINK, and third-party vendors.
The PMM will report directly to the Associate Director, Integrated Solutions and will work closely to align tactics with an overarching software and services marketing strategy. The PMM is the owner of software solutions, the product expert and market expert, with a clear understanding of market drivers, competitors, target market, campaigns and buyer/user personas. The PMM will be working alongside other team members to align and compliment software up-sell and cross-sell strategies. Experience with Software-as-a-Service is a plus.
The PMM will play a lead role in the development of marketing plans, messaging, demand generation; and holds primary responsibility for tactical execution in support of departmental software and services objectives. This position requires collaboration and engagement with key cross-functional departments in bioMérieux, including sales, medical affairs, customer service, compliance, legal, communications, and market intelligence. This position will also require ownership of social media, email, and digital strategies from inception to launch, that are time-bound, and metric driven.
This position will require recruitment of and engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the industry, and being the point of contact with KOLs, as well as developing programs with KOLs to drive thought-leadership content and stories for the hospital from the lab to leadership. Experience with infectious disease specialists is a plus.
The PMM position is a hybrid remote and in-office position that will require up to 30% of travel, including trade show support, customer visits, and internal meetings. Role will be based in either Salt Lake City, Utah or Durham, North Carolina.
