We are looking for a Global Product/Solution Manager in charge of upstream marketing activities for digitalization and automation solutions addressing the microbiological monitoring of the environment, with worldwide responsibilities. You will belong to the Global Marketing Pharma Quality Control Department of the Industry business unit of bioMérieux that offers holistic quality control solutions to pharma, biotech, CDMOs manufacturers, ultimately helping them provide patients with critical therapies more quickly and safely.

Reporting to the Global Environemental Monitoring Marketing Manager, you are the business product expert of your solutions. In strong interaction with internal stakeholders (Program, R&D, Project, Medical Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), you develop and follow-up on the execution of the digitalisation and automation solutions Global Marketing Plan (GMP) and define its mid to long term strategy and LifeCycle Management.

 

What will be your missions?


Master Market knowledge on the assigned product/service by analyzing the market, the trends, the competitive field and leading the Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC) in order to make sure this market knowledge and related marketing analysis are shared and integrated into new development/LCM and related activities by all key stakeholders.

 

About Voice of Customer and Voice of Market :

 

  • Monitor, collect and analyze market, customer trends and insights in close relationship with regions, subs and Strategic Key account teams,
  • Size potential market and dynamics,
  • Prepare marketing presentation to support leadership teams' decision-making on innovations and portfolio management,
  • Share and communicate throughout the company on insights / trends,
  • Master data collection, data analytics and data modelling techniques to identify customer segments.

 

About Competitive analysis:

 

  • Run competition analysis to identify competitive landscape, competitor’s positioning (market share, growth, profitability) and benchmark (services, product, competitiveness…),,
  • Develop business intelligence tools to be able to produce and share market and customer insights,
  • Develop competitive benchmark content and identify key differentiators.

 

Based on the competition analysis, design marketing recommendations, content for training and action plans in close collaboration with the Global Market Manager.

 

Define the short and long term product marketing strategy by developing, adjusting yearly and executing the Global Marketing Plan, based on Marketing-for-Impact framework.
Contribute to the Product LCM in tight collaboration with R&D Project and the Regions, by translating VOC findings into “must have” customers benefits to drive relevant product requirements, this for products improvement, further developments, that ultimately deliver customer-centric solutions with sustainable profitability. Build the Project Business Plan and contribute to the project documentation and deliverables to project governance.
Give Communication directions in line with GMP to MarCom Dept., to build differentiated product promise, value messaging and data, and communication plan that leverage our competitive advantage and maximize customer adoption/loyalty, this with alignment with Market Manager and/or Regions for delivering efficient promotional platforms/tools to support the commercial teams.
Co-lead KOL Management: as part of regular customers visits and contacts at international level, develop the KOL network and pools of advocates to support solutions.
Act as product champion with entrepreneur mindset to monitor its performance including sales revenues and consolidated margin, market acceptance and market shares. Participate to customers visits presenting the solutions and capturing customers insights. Contribute to sales and marketing training. Contribute to value-based pricing policy assessment/adjustment in collaboration with the Global market manager.

 

Who are you?

 

  • Post-graduate degree in Science and/or in Business/Marketing with 8 to10 years’ experience in Global Marketing, Local Marketing and Sales positions. Experience in Digital/IT is a plus.
  • You are recognized for your leadership and communication skills and have the ability to distill complex, innovative and scientific based topics into simple and clear messages for different stakeholders.
  • Good entrepreneurial skills, taking initiatives and demonstrating a can-do attitude.
  • Able to handle priorities and deliver commitments on time (result and progress oriented),
  • Experienced in Pharma business, preferably with IVD ie., Microbiology Diagnostics and ImmunoAssays
  • Team spirit and customer oriented
