Global Medical Affairs- PPLS, PDP & LCM Project Manager


Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job: The person will be responsible for execution and delivery of Global Medical Affairs- Microbiology, Immunoassays, and Host response project objectives in adherence with the company methodology, through management of all project dimensions: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance. The person will be primarily responsible for anticipating, planning, monitoring, and reviewing budget and resource planning including Peri- and Post- Launch Studies (PPLS) Program and Medical Affairs activities contributing to Product Development Process (PDP) and Life Cycle Management (LCM)  projects related to microbiology, immunoassays, and host response projects.


Main Accountabilities

  1. Own project objectives, and key success factors defined during the project definition phase; design the project scope, deadlines, and budget.
  2. Define the project plan including critical milestones from initiation to closing, according to the selected implementation methodology and strictly using the company’s adopted tools including EXPLOR, SAP, IdeaPoint, and CRM tools.
  3. Implement the project activities in adherence to project objectives.
  4. Define, monitor, and report on project costs. Identify and mitigate risks to the project budget.
  5. Lead a transversal team; coordinate and supervise the activities of team members.
  6. Confirm resource requirements and discuss necessary adjustments with resource managers to ensure availability.
  7. Manage the project risk analysis and manage the implementation of associated risk reduction measures. Escalate to the department head or project governance team in instances if necessary.
  8. Identify, prioritize, and proactively monitor changes that may affect the project.
  9. Ensure that all the elements necessary for the success of the project are identified, defined, and monitored throughout the project life cycle.
  10. Identify and implement change management in response to business drivers.
  11. Communicate progress against the objectives of the project to all stakeholders.
  12. Work with key stakeholders in finance, legal, purchasing, and key functional partners in other departments
  13. Find opportunities for process and continuous improvements.



A Bachelor's degree is required and a minimum of 5 years experience managing complex and diverse project is required, A Master's Degree is preferred. Project Management training or certification preferred.
