Position Summary:

The Nephrocheck Specialist will ensure continued growth of the current customer base while creating new business opportunities through placement of instruments and reagents resulting in increased revenue for the company. The Nephrocheck Specialist is responsible for technical selling and installation verification of the Nephrocheck products. The Nephrocheck Specialist works with local sales teams to manage all aspects of the Nephrocheck sales cycle and is the subject matter expert on Nephrocheck and relevant competitor products.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and executes business plans to achieve or exceed territory growth per company plan and drive new business revenue through selling new instruments and reagents. Identify High Value targets in geographical territory.
  • Effectively position and sell the Nephrocheck test to clinical stakeholders including, but not limited to, CV surgeons, hospitalists, intensivists, nephrologists, pharmacy directors, Chief Medical Officers, laboratory administration and Quality.
  • Work cooperatively in a matrix environment with local sales teams, regional business managers, customer service team and other colleagues in order to advance and close opportunities.
  • Ensure the compliance of business activities meet the most stringent requirements of legal and ethical standards and current company policies.
  • Ensure customer knowledge is available and shared by maintaining customer records in accordance with company guidelines and tools.
  • Support and participate in relevant conferences, trade shows and symposia in coordination with sales leadership and marketing.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key opinion leaders/reference sites within assigned territory.
  • Coordinates the gathering and sharing of competitive knowledge within assigned territory. 
  • Communicates with sales teams, sales leadership and marketing about such knowledge so as to build strategies to respond to competition.
  • Provides additional training, coaching and objection handling guidance to local sales teams to elevate the level of knowledge and subject matter competency within assigned territory.
     

Studies and Experience:

  • BS/BA in busiess or science related field required
  • Three (3) years of bioMérieux product experience preferred, not required.
  • Successful experience in territory sales and full knowledge of the product line(s) and applications.
  • Relevant clinical experience selling into CV Surgery, ICU and Emergency Departments

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical and operational subject matter in his/her respective discipline and product lines.
  • Subject matter expert on competitive systems.
  • Strong selling and closing skills with proficiency in selling to clinicians.
  • Excellent presentation skills. Adept at using multi‐media presentation tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with key internal
  • and external stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of computers; Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT knowledge required.
  • Microsoft TEAMs, Salesforce knowledge preferred, not required.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to conduct client visits which entails the safe operation of motor vehicles, physically accessing customer facilities and frequent air travel in performance of assigned duties.
