Global Medical Affairs Coordinator- Microbiology


Maintain the study database and coordinate the execution of ordering and delivery of various order preparation steps for peri-post-commercial launch studies (PPLS) Microbiology studies, within the deadlines, to the expected performance level, as per procedures and instructions provided by the lead Global Medical Affairs Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking the requests, ongoing study-specific updates, and support the maintenance of the PPLS study database.
  • Coordinate the review and approval process of the PPLS studies including Investigator Initiated Studies.
  • Act as administrator for IdeaPoint study portal
  • Update overall study dashboard and provide study KPI as requested
  • Order preparation steps to support new and on-going PPLS Microbiology studies.
  • Provide support to GMA Project Manager to ensure project milestones and payments are submitted and processed according to study contracts.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance and other stakeholders to get contracts in place
  • Coordinate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to plan instrument installation at study sites.
  • Coordinate the shipment, required maintenance, and return of instruments used in PPLS studies.
  • Follow up with Global Medical Affairs scientists on the needs of new and on-going studies to avoid disruption of testing.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process by proposing and supporting actions to improve quality, safety, the environment, or the levels of performance.


Required Education, Experience & Skills

High school diploma or Vocational Secondary School Diploma with 5 years of coordinator or logistics experience


A college degree with 1-3 years of coordinator or logistics experience


Travel: 0-10% (domestic and international)
