Postion Summary:

This position will perform general maintenance of equipment in a regulated FDA manufacturing environment for the production and packing of VITEK 2 cards. The position will perform the operation, preventative maintenance, and trouble-shooting of high speed equipment.

Line Maintenance Technician 2nd shift (M-F) 2 pm-10:00pm

Primary Duties:

1. Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work orders independently for the different equipment groups.
2. Inspect and maintain machines to prevent future failures or restore to serviceable and acceptable operating conditions.

3. Trace errors within machine operations.

2. Checking inputs and outputs
3. Documenting findings

4. Check Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility.

1. Taking measurements in accordance with standardization procedure
2. Cleaning and adjusting M&TE

5. Select and use appropriate Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) to measure industrial equipment and component conditions in an accurate, repeatable, and reproducible manner.

6. Miscellaneous
   1. Follow proper procedures and techniques including to adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines
   2. Establish good documentation practices, including an understand of good manufacturing practices, ISO, and quality system regulations are required to be followed.
   3. Use CMMs software correctly by complete pms, enter urgent work orders, attach parts, attach labor, search for parts.Complete all scheduled training on time
   4. Navigation of finding documents and drawings in the applicable system
   5. Support Total Productive Maintenance activities by being an active participant, when applicable
   6. Be accessible to people on the plant floor to discuss problems and ideas.
   7. Maintain good relationships with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Facilities Maintenance.
   8. Work overtime as needed to ensure the required labor resource needs are met.
   9. Reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential job function required for this position.

Position Requirements:

1. Technical degree in a manufacturing technology discipline such as industrial controls, logic programming,/manufacturing processes or 2 years of experience working in the technicial/mechanical field or in manufacturing environment.
2. Good mechanical aptitude
3. Knowledge of automation controls.
4. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic hardware.
5. Knowledge of understand good manufacturing practices (GMP’s), ISO, and quality system regulations is preferred.
