Since its launch in May 2020, our Employee Portal (bob) has evolved into a vital daily tool for employees around the world. Bob is the main entry point to company news, HR policies and information, training and more. In addition, bob and collaborative tools, such as Teams and Yammer, have become more intertwined, requiring closer strategic alignment.

 

As Digital Workplace Product Owner, you will be responsible for the delivery and adoption of bob and determine how collaborative tools (e.g., Teams and Yammer) support our goal of creating a seamless, simplified workplace. You will refine and enhance the portal’s strategic vision and execute on that vision through the animation of network of 400+ content contributors, collaborators and business committee support. With the portal’s vision in mind, you will provide strategic oversight to the IS EEC regarding collaborative tool releases, policies and enhancements.

 

What will be your mission?

Strategy & Vision

  • Collaborate with the Digital Core Team, IS, Communication and other key departments to build a robust project plan with milestones – providing regular updates to the Digital Employee Experience Director and SVP Digital Transformation
  • Take responsibility for the employee portal and collaboration tools overall success and delivery
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance of collaborative tools to the IS EEC Service Manager to ensure enhancements, policies and releases support and complement the vision of bob
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications representatives to ensure portal & collaborative tools alignment with the communication and content strategies, monitor content adequacy, content plans for refresh, retired content, etc.
  • Work with business stakeholders, including Executive Leadership, to establish priorities for how the portal evolves and update the portal strategy
  • Coordinate with DEX Director to ensure portal & collaborative tools roadmaps fit with overall DEX objectives (including WeDev)
  • Define & establish optimal benchmarks based on business objectives and user needs

 

Product Management

  • Design and monitor the full employee portal lifecycle, including content obsolescence, evolutions, and enhancements
  • Collaborate with IS Service managers to prioritize employee portal and collaborative tools enhancement and run backlogs; ordering the items in the backlogs to best achieve our goals and missions
  • Animate and lead a cross functional project team, including a third party partner, to implement new employee portal enhancements and adapt processes to create a seamless user experience
  • Manage a network of 400+ employee portal content contributors, ensuring they are trained on and following current best practices and processes
  • Monitor and review periodically the consistency of contributor access granted (Service Life Cycle)

 

Project Management

  • Partner with Change Manager to communicate actively with all main stakeholder and user groups, demonstrate how bob and collaborative tools can be a critical enabler and improve the workplace
  • Regular touch base meetings with business representatives through EX Light Committee and DEX Operational Committee
  • Analyze and report portal & collaborative tools analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate and animate the different phases of product enhancements including testing phases

 

Studies and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of Change Management or Business Transformation in an international context and multiple business domains
  • Robust project management and collaboration capabilities – project management and Scrum Master certification strongly preferred
  • Mastery of HelixALM and Google Analytics
  • Solid knowledge of the overall business departments stakes with a focus on workplace and workflow enhancement, interdepartmental collaboration
  • Strong knowledge of O365 and digital collaboration tools such as Klaxoon, etc.
