Sr Product Marketing Manager- AMS/Sepsis/ Integrated Solutions

Position Summary

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Stewardship (AMS) programs are at the core of bioMerieux Full Potential growth plan.  The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the marketing strategies and tactics for the AMS/ Sepsis/ Integrated Solutions/ Key Product portofolio, support AMR Full potential initiatives, maximizing the value proposition of the combined portfolio to Healthcare practitioners, industry influences, inside and outside the lab.

 

This position plays a key role in the Go-to-Market process and deployment of marketing strategies.

 

Primary Duties:

 

The Product Marketing Managers is responsible for:

 

Execution

  1. subject matter expert with relevant stakeholders, product, market segments
  2. Marketing tactics and programs
  3. Sales and Marketing training
  4. Tradeshows and promotional events
  5. Educational programs
  6. Market research initiatives/ Clinical advisory boards
  7. Transversal interactions to support  cross-selling initiatives
  8. Go to market process
  9. Relation with /and KOL development  

 

Developing

  1. Brand Plan objectives, strategies, and tactics
  2. Messaging strategy
  3. Sales tools
  4. Sales Programs
  5. Integrated solution collaterals

 

Monitoring

  1. Competition
  2. Market trends
  3. Sales performance and trends in assigned business area
  4. Customer behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes
  5. Market opportunities
  6. Effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics
  7. challenges, updates , regulation  gaps

 

Interfaces, works closely with:

  • Customers (clinicians, Pharmacists and laboratories, other HCP in acute and OM market )
  • Sales force & field employees
  • Medical Affairs and Clinical Educators ( MELS, CAST)
  • KOLs and Medical Societies
  • Advertising agency
  • 3rd party vendors
  • Company executive management
  • Global Marketing

 

Training and Education:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or business-related field; MBA or other post-graduate degree in Health Sciences/infectious disease preferred.
  • Minimum 5  years of successful product management experience in a healthcare marketing role.
  • Other
    • Working knowledge of marketing regulated clinical diagnostics in the field of infectious disease or diagnostic test.
    • Knowledge of clinical molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, virology, or clinical care field is highly desired.
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Fluent in English.

 

Experience:

    • At least 5 years of successful product management experience preferably with diagnostic or medical products including product launches or other relevant experience in the clinical field.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

•    Ability to translate clinicians diagnostic needs into executable messages.
•    Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
•    Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence all levels of stakeholders including employees, other department leaders, top leadership, high profile customers, the public, regulatory agencies, etc.

•    Organizational and project management skills, leadership skills.

•    Attention to detail.
•    Knowledge of patient management/ infectious disease/ microbiology strongly desired.
•    High sense of adaptability, prioritization, and organization 
•    Solid working knowledge of marketing regulated clinical diagnostics preferably in the field of infectious disease strongly desired.
•    Ability to navigate and proactively solve complex issues and problems. Ability to apply creative solutions to issues and anticipates outcomes.
•    Interacts and presents technical information to audience with various levels of scientific experience.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

 

 

20% Domestic travel
