Product Marketing Manager- AMS Sepsis

Position Summary

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Stewardship (AMS) programs are at the core of bioMerieux Full Potential growth plan.  The Product Marketing Manager  is responsible for defining the marketing strategies and tactics for the AMS/ Sepsis/ integrated solutions, within and outside the organization and  support  AMR Full potential initiatives, maximizing the value proposition of the combined portfolio to Healthcare practitioners, industry influences, inside and outside the lab.

 

Primary Duties

The Product Marketing Managers is responsible for:

Execution

  1. Marketing tactics and programs
  2. Sales and Marketing training
  3. Tradeshows and promotional events
  4. Educational programs
  5. Market research initiatives
  6. Transversal interactions to support  cross-selling initiatives
  7. Go to market process when applicable

 

Developing

  1. Brand Plan objectives, strategies, and tactics
  2. Messaging strategy
  3. Sales tools
  4. Sales Programs
  5. Integrated solution  collaterals

 

Monitoring

  1. Competition
  2. Market trends
  3. Sales performance and trends in assigned business area
  4. Customer behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes
  5. Market opportunities
  6. Effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics
  7. Market research
  8. ASP challenges, updates , regulation  gaps

Interfaces, works closely with:

  • Customers (laboratories, clinicians, Pharmacists and other HCP in acute and OM market )
  • Sales force & field employees
  • Medical Affairs and Clinical Educators ( MELS, CAST)
  • KOLs and Medical Societies
  • Advertising agency
  • 3rd party vendors
  • Company executive management

 

Training and Education

 

  • Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or business-related field; MBA or other post-graduate degree in Health Sciences preferred.
  • At least 3 years of successful product management experience preferably with diagnostic or medical products.
  • Other
    • Working knowledge of marketing regulated clinical diagnostics in the field of infectious disease or diagnostic test.
    • Knowledge of clinical molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, virology, or clinical care field is highly desired.
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Fluent in English.

 

Experience

    • At least 3 years of successful product management experience preferably with diagnostic or medical products including product launches or other relevant experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Ability to translate clinicians diagnostic needs into executable messages.
  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers some complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Interacts and presents technical/clinical information to audience with various levels of scientific experience.
  • Performs work under direct supervision
  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Communication skills. Comfortable to interact with  extended multicultural and multifunctional teams.

  • High sense of adaptability, prioritization and organization
  • Abilities in Project Management
