Electronic HW Designer

HW designer will work inside the Electronic HW/FW Design department; He/She will be involved in HW design and verification activities for the development of  new products and for the maintenance of launched products.

HW designer main task is to create schematics and related PCB routing of electronic boards of medium-high complexity, mainly based on microcontrollers

HW designer participates to the definition of the electric HW architecture of the system in terms of functional allocations, layout and industrialization

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design of HW for embedded real time systems

• Contribution to the architecture definition for new instruments

• Feasibility activities for new applications

• HW verification activities

• Release of design documentation

• Management of external partners

• Teamwork

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

• University degree in Electronic Engineering or similar

• Experience in digital and analog hardware development

• Experience in Altium Designer CAD for HW development for both schematics and routing

• Knowledge of English language

• Experience in FPGA design using Xilinx and related tools (ISE/Vivado) is appreciated

• Experience in FW development is considered a plus
