Summary of Job Description: 

Reporting to the CFO ASEAN, this person is a business partner to the commercial team and supports the Financial, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activity of the ASEAN region. He/she contributes to the analysis of financial performance needed for the company for both Clinical and Industry, as well as provide timely information to drive decision making.

 


Major Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecast.
  • Perform variance analysis, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Prepare reports on financial performance and communicate the insights during regular leadership reviews.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process for ASEAN.
  • Provide up-to-date sales numbers and estimates to commercial team to drive sales target.
  • Provide support on pricing queries and profitability analysis to sales team.
  • Reconcile financial information between systems.
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards.
  • Dedicated finance business partner to the Industry division
  • Support ASEAN CFO on ad-hoc requests.

     

Qualifications, Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance.
  • 5-8 years of business finance or other relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP/ COFIS/ Tableau.
  • The successful candidate should be a self-starter with good interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, have good business acumen and collaborative with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. He/she must be comfortable in a MNC environment and, preferably, experience in medical device industry. 
  • Location – Singapore or Bangkok
