Reporting directly to the VP Clinical Operations METER (Middle East - Turkey - Russia & Central Asia, Iran & Caucasus), you would be in charge  of Turkey legal entity, managing the Clinical sales and marketing teams directly and all support functions in dotted line (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance & Tenders, HR, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs). You will also ensure an alignment and proper coordination with our Industry unit. You will be responsible for approximately 80 people (18 in sales & marketing) with continuous growth expected for the next years.
 

The Turkish subsidiary is also a METER Hub for Customer Service Support & Trainings and welcomes Cluster functions such as Supply Chain and Marketing.

This role will be located in Istanbul with travel expected (throughout Turkey and internationally).

 

 

What will your responsibilities within bioMérieux?

 

You will represent the bioMérieux in Turkey and you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing the selling strategies for the country with full P&L responsibility. The scope of the role includes overseeing, in a matrix environment, all local sales, marketing, customer service, medical affairs, quality, support functions.

 

Main accountabilities include :

 

  • Develop a business strategy aligned with our global ambition and ensures the team delivers customer loyalty, above market growth rates in terms of product market share, manages average selling price (ASP) and provide incremental revenue to assist the organization in meeting its stated revenue and growth objectives.
  • You position bioMerieux, beyond the lab, as a true Healthcare partner in the fight of infectious diseases diagnostics by increasing the maturity and the impact of our commercial organization (value selling & cross selling  approach) and with the focus on Medical Doctors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and group policies proactively addressing compliance/internal controls in all aspects of the business operations.
  • Ensure proper functioning of the quality management system and lead Operational Performance : Profitability, Supply Chain, Customer Service.
  • Ensure appropriate resources and processes to meet the business objectives and to support distributors in the country.
  • Represent the company with Governmental Authorities, Business Associations and International Organizations in the country.

 

Who are you?
 

Studies and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales/ marketing/ commercial operations management experience (direct & indirect model)
  • At least two years of General Management/ P & L leadership experience within an international In Vitro Diagnostics, Medical Device, or life sciences company.
  • Good knowledge of the IVD market and its regulatory requirements; Ability to develop and guide an organization during periods of rapid growth. 
  • Strategic thinker with understanding of the competitor marketplace. A track record of success in expanding markets, increasing sales and enhancing profitability. 
  • Successful experience in building a relationship with Health Authorities and Industry association bodies.
  • Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks, analyze problems, develop solution alternatives, and implement tactics needed to secure positive outcomes
