We are looking for 1 Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Greece to support Medical Affair strategy implementation in:

  1. Greece

  2. Adriatic Distribution Zone (Balkan countries mostly)

The Medical Science Liaison is a field-based resource that will create awareness and communicate the high medical value of our solutions to support patient management in severe infectious diseases. The MSL will engage with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders to ensure patient access to high-standard quality of care.

The MSL function is intended to support clinical studies, communicate evidence-based data to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and gather valuable information on current clinical practice in order to better understand patient needs and evidence gaps. In Greece, the Adriatic MSL will create a solid network of key Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, ICU and other clinical specialists, to facilitate their engagement into value-added collaborative initiatives.

The MSL is responsible for being the reference point for medical-scientific expertise to the customer-facing functions in the assigned geographic area and collaborating with the field matrix colleagues and distribution partners to ensure bioMérieux can support healthcare system and improve patient access and outcome.

 

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

  • University scientific degree (PhD in a research science or Medical Degree is desired)

  • At least 2 yrs professional experience within pharma or IVD industry

  • Previous experience in a MSL or other field-based medical position would be ideal

  • Fluency in both Greek and English is a must

  • Expertise in handling clinical trials and knowledge of National clinical research legislation is a plus

  • Critical appraisal of scientific literature

  • Solid communication and presentation skills

  • Entrepreneurial and able to collaborate in cross-functional teams

  • Autonomous planning and execution capabilities to drive for results

  • Business acumen and customer orientation
