Job Summary
Responsible for rebate calculations and distributor margin calculations and reporting. Support closing activities related to revenue recognition, accruals, and revenue reporting. Partner with other areas of finance and the business to ensure complete, accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for rebate calculation and reporting.
- Responsible for Distributor Margin calculation and reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate application of revenue recognition.
- Perform the monthly close tasks associated with revenue, preparation of various reconciliations, revenue journal entries and revenue related analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Assist with annual external and internal audit by providing source support and other explanations.
- Assist with annual budget and forecasting activities as assigned.
- Leverages data warehouse and BI tools to build sustainable and validated reporting and models.
- Ability to convert data to understandable and explainable format including slide preparation for the business.
- Support customer, pricing and install base analyses.
- Support to Clinical Commercial Operations leadership, Accounting, and Regional/Corporate FP&A teams.
- Performs ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux/BioFire Diagnostics’ Quality System.
Qualifications
Training and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field leading teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced excel skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Working CRM skills
- SAP or other enterprise management system
- BI tools (tableau preferred)
