Project Coordinator

Primary Purpose:

The Transfer and Commercialization Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the transfer of the transfer of products and processes from R&D to its final commercialization. The candidate is expected to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient collection and distribution of project documents, and communication of timelines.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Lead and monitor multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain timelines, schedule meetings, create agendas and presentations, facilitate discussions, and document meeting minutes and action items for various stages of the project
  • Collect and maintain project reports, product specifications, inserts, verification and validation plans and reports.
  • Distribute documents to cross-functional teams to facilitate product commercialization.
  • Collaborate with other departments and global/company-wide stakeholders to ensure project activities are scoped and completed on schedule
  • Serve as the liaison between commercial teams, Operations, and R&D to communicate and ensure implementation of project requirements, outputs, and changes.

Regularly communicate project progress to project stakeholders and department heads.

Studies-Experience:

-      BA/BS Degree in a life science related field required and a minimum two (2) years of experience in related industry.

  • Two years project management or related experience preferred
  • Relevant MBA and/or PMP certification from Project Management Institute a plus

 Skills and Qualifications:

  •       Experience in ISO 9001 and 13485 compliant environments, including manufacturing, medical device, or regulated environments, is preferred
  •       Computer skills required, should be proficient with Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, etc.), experience with Project Management Software preferred.
  •      Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  •      Ability to work independently and in a team environment  Ability to prioritize and balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
