Description

BioMerieux is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join us as an Administrative Support Specialist for our Regulated Products team. In this crucial role, you will provide essential administrative support to our Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and Postmarket Surveillance departments, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies and our Quality System.

To excel in this role, you will need:

A High School diploma and 6 years of relevant work experience OR an associate degree and 2 years of relevant work experience.

Notary Public certification highly desired.

As an Administrative Support Specialist

You will play a vital role in maintaining departmental efficiency. Your responsibilities will encompass scheduling and coordinating meetings, organizing events, maintaining records and databases, creating presentations, managing calendars, ordering supplies, making travel arrangements, tracking expenses, assisting with team communication and seating, and delivering exceptional customer service to visitors. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to showcase your organizational skills by managing small projects, taking meeting notes, notarizing and sending documents for legalization, and updating regulatory documents to ensure compliance and record readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time-management skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to effectively handle multiple low to medium complexity projects and work assignments from various managers. Essential qualities include strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Candidates should also demonstrate exceptional customer service, uphold high ethical standards, and exhibit a strong commitment to delivering quality work. Proficiency in basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and web searches at an intermediate level is expected. Prior experience in an administrative support role and familiarity with regulatory environments or the medical industry would be advantageous.
