The Manager, US Centers of Excellence and Value-Based Healthcare will oversee the implementation and successful management of key strategic customer partnerships established as (i) clinical Centers of Excellence (COE) project/sites in the US; (ii) Value-Based Contract (VBC) sites in the US; and (iii) other strategic partnerships, as directed by the Senior Director, Value-Based Healthcare.  The holder of this job is accountable for contracting with and lifecycle management of these strategic partnerships. The holder of this job will leverage innovative commercial models to empower customers to realize, and capture real-world evidence of, the value the bioMerieux portfolio, thereby supporting bioMerieux’s Full Potential commercial ambition.

 

Primary Duties-

  1. Coordinate successful deployment and lifecycle management of assigned COE and other strategic partnerships, in close partnership with other key project stakeholders
  2. Lead engagement plan for each of the COE site, serving as primary customer contact and coordinator of site engagement and/or needs among bioMerieux personnel
  3. Oversee implementation, customer-facing contact, and day-to-day management of VBC deployments, including coordination between sites and internal bioMerieux stakeholders within the Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, US Medical Affairs, and global functions.
  4. Liaise with US Clinical Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and US Medical Affairs teams with respect to opportunity management
  5. Lead strategic and compliant presentation of strategic partnerships that address customer needs and further profitable growth objectives
  6. Identify and execute on other innovative commercial models, as directed by the Senior Director, Value-Based Healthcare, to best position the bioMerieux ClinOps portfolio to key healthcare decisionmakers in the evolving US market

 

Training and Education-

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, JD, or masters in relevant field) strongly preferred

 

Experience-

  • Minimum 10-years’ professional experience, with increasing scope of responsibility
  • Functional knowledge of in-vitro diagnostics, health care information systems, digital solutions, and contracting
  • Experience and demonstrated success presenting to senior health system decisionmakers
  • Project management experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-

 

  • Excellent presentation and advanced communication skills, particularly in a B2C environment
  • Creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Commitment to developing and maintaining functional expertise regarding value-based healthcare and, specifically, value-based contract business models
  • Field travel requirement: up to 50%
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment; manage without authority

  • Situational Awareness to internal and external customers within accelerated and emerging business environments
  • Self-directed work ethic
  • Strong written skills, functional Computer, Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT knowledge (related to Data Management, Networking, HIPAA and Cyber Security)
