Senior Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

As a Senior Administrative Assitant, you will perform diverse administrative assignments for a specialized department within the company as well as act as a coordinating resource and facilitator of administrative functions for department.

 

Primary Duties:

  • Provide confidential administrative support to department and management.
  • Perform specialized tasks as required such as data entry, purchasing for department supplies,  payment of consulting contracts.
  • Organize and plan inter-department meetings.
  • Plan travel for R&D Micro staff when requested.
  • Prepare calendars for upper management and senior executives when visiting St. Louis.
  • Compile and distribute information for executives in meetings with departmental management staff.
  • Receive incoming calls, mail and visitors.
  • Reasonable, reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential job function required for this position

 

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 +years of experience working as an administrative assistant. 
  • Typing/keyboard proficiency and basic math skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Work, Power Point and Excel software programs.
  • Business office machines operations; printers, fax, copiers, scanner, projection systems
