VIE 12 months - Financial Analyst - F/M/NB

As a VIE, you will support the German Sales and Marketing team in achieving their commercial budget (sales, margin) by providing a regular detailed sales performance monitoring to the Sales and Marketing teams as well as being a business partner with ad hoc analysis on specific customers and/or products. You will collaborate with Financial controller for Germany and Business analyst for Switzerland and Austria. You will directly report to the Controlling Manager Central Europe West.

What will be your mission?

• Prepare Sales Budget/monthly sales forecasts in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams
• Monitor sales budgets and interact with corresponding teams to drive identified actions
• Monitor the profitability on sales and monitor identified actions in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams
• Monitor the equipment base of the company in coordination with various business partners to drive the profitability of the business
• Provide ad hoc analysis to Sales and Marketing teams to best take necessary decisions in the course of the daily business
• Manage the monthly reporting to the parent company regarding the equipment base, the monthly forecast with corresponding reconciliations
• Be an active actor of our Internal Control System by performing specific regular controls
• Act as point of contact for Finance regarding CRM (Salesforce.com)
• Participate as an active contributor for Finance in all sales related projects
• Contribute to the evolution of our Sales controlling tools

Who are you?

• Business degree (Master, MBA, Business school equivalent)
• At least a first experience in cost controlling
• Analytical capabilities with financial skills to monitor a profitable portfolio
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team player
• Excel advanced skills
• Ideally, SAP knowledge required (especially SD / FI-CO)
• Fluent in English and German as a plus.

To be eligible for a VIE (international internship in a company), you must fulfil the following conditions:

• Be aged at least 18 but not yet 29

• Be French or a European citizen

• Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country

• Have a clean criminal record
