Our Industrial sales & marketing department in Turkey is looking for an Industry Food Account Representative for Istanbul and Ankara. You will be responsible for the sales growth of your assigned area. The portfolio includes all bioMérieux industry products under microbiology, molecular biology and immunoassays.

 

What will your responsibilities be at bioMérieux?

  • Be responsible for the sales growth and profitability in the assigned sales area to reach set objectives,
  • Implement sales plans and monitor current sales performance,
  • Support the existing installed for both equipment and reagents
  • Gain new customers in selected segment and maintain good relations with existing customers in the assigned area,
  • Work closely with the regional marketing team to build local strategy and to identify most promising segment,
  • Liaise with local operations to align support functions.

 

Who are you?

  • Bachelor Degree in life science field; Food Microbiology, Biology, Food Engineer, Veterinary or similar background.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sales and/or industry sales, especially in IVD medical technology solutions, capital equipment sales or experience working in laboratory environment
  • Proven ability to inspire, lead and influence customers, sales professionals and senior management stakeholders
  • Strong commercial mind-set and stakeholder management skills
  • Native Turkish speaker and English proficiency is a must.
  • Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with 80% of the time in the field (locally)
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
  • This position is a field based position in Istanbul with 40-50% of travels in the designated area.
