We are looking for a Chief of Staff who will report to the General Manager and Head of Clinical Operations- North America. This role will support the GM in coordinating Clinical Operations Areas & Functions within North America as well as the US Leadership team, implementing organizational and strategic projects as well as supporting the management of the North American Clinical Operations and US Leadership team meetings and events. The focus of this position is quality & timely execution of decisions made by the team. This position requires forward thinking innovative strategy in support of key business priorities, as well as partnering closely with team and key stakeholders within the rest of the organization. 


What will be your mission? 

·         Acts as a strategic advisor to the GM & Head of Clinical operations North America and senior management team. 

·         Represents GM & Head of Clinical operations North America in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders. 

·         Supports GM & Head of Clinical operations North America in meetings by ensuring smooth running and execution of the meeting from agenda preparation to minute taking and post-meeting action follow ups.  

·         Acts as the liaison between GM & Head of Clinical operations North America and other executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making in a timely manner. 

·         Participates with the GM & Head of Clinical operations North America and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making. 

·         Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the GM & Head of Clinical operations North America. 

·         Researches and recommends new and revised policies and strategies. 

·         Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations. 

·         Acts as the thought partner to the Leadership team in the definition, articulation and deployment of strategic roadmap and critical tactical programs and activities 

·         Maintains accurate confidential files and data records. 

·         Additional responsibilities as periodically assigned 


Who are you?

·         Education and Experience: 

·          Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, biotech, finance or similar required. MBA preferred 

·          5+ years’ experience with bioMerieux strongly preferred 

·          3-5 years working with analytics and financial documents in a commercial operations environment highly preferred 

·          5-7 years of increasing responsibility in IVD industry required 

·          Knowledge and experience in health care beyond IVD beneficial 

Skills and Qualifications:

·          Advanced MOS skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. 

·          Strong interpersonal skills with project management experience, multi-task capability and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and matrix environment 

·          Ability to lead without authority 

·          Ability to manage multiple competing priorities 

·          Passionate about work with the can do and must do better attitude, highly motivated and results driven, ability to demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills 

·          Customer centric mindset and problem-solving abilities and comfort in providing open, honest feedback 

·          Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships both internally and externally 

·          Continuously looking for opportunities to learn and build skills 

·          Business travel required
