We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for infectious diseases under a permanent contract who will work and grow within the French Subsidary. You will report to the Cluster Medical Director within a team of 2 co-workers.
What will be your mission ?
In collaboration with the Medical Director, propose, develop and implement a medical strategy for bioMérieux diagnostic solutions (namely Syndromic solutions, transversal AMR/AMS & Sepsis initiatives)
A. Medical communication :
Create and validate scientific documents and customer facing supports
Deliver scientific presentations to physicians across different specialties
Support healthcare institutions in defining and deploying the most appropriate diagnostic recommendations, based on data availability, context and guidelines
Facilitate exchanges between stakeholders for the adoption of innovative diagnostic solutions
Organize local scientific meetings for medical education according to the needs expressed by health professionals and Scientific advisory boards
Respond to questions and requests for off-label information
Contribute to the training of teams in charge of promotion, and any other bioMerieux employee
Provide medical support to the various teams and lead scientific exchanges between Marketing, Sales and Service
Ensure scientific watch
B. Management of Key opinion leaders:
Identify, leverage and maintain relationships with critical care and infectious disease Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across France:
Regional/national opinion leaders
Regional/national scientific networks and scientific societies
C. Evidence Generation:
Contribute to manage company-sponsored post-market studies
Support investigator initiated trials (IITs) in line with global strategy and according to Medtech requirements and bioMérieux SOPs (standard operating procedures)
Support clinical development initiatives including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and presentation of final approved data
Who are you ?
Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
At least 2 years of similar industry experience
Experience in the therapy area of infectious diseases is strongly preferred along with a solid professional reputation for interacting productively with HCPs in the field (physicians, microbiologists)
Experience in the management of clinical trials and French clinical research environment and legislation is desirable
Experience in reviewing and analysing scientific literature
Fluent in English and French
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
Proactive approach with proven ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Traveling up to 70% of your time across France
