Description

As the Medical Insights and KOL Coordinator, your duties are to collect information, design, write, and plan informational tools, such as scientific congress summaries, organize advisory board insights, support assembly of disease state overviews, and provide summaries of key activities of medical value to stakeholdersYour responsibilities include collaborating with Medical Affairs and other stakeholder colleagues on projects, reviewing scientific information, communications, and writing documents. This position includes managing coordination of tools related to KOL identification, mapping, development, and coordination between medical affairs and organizational stakeholders.       

Primary Duties    

  • Write and edit high-quality summaries, articles, scientific and medical documents about healthcare-related topics aligned with the bioMerieux product portfolio focused in infectious disease and public health. Communicate with medical experts, organizational stakeholders, or representatives across the organization for medical resources and verifications.  
  • Create content calendars and timelines for internal collaboration on high impact projects, newsletters, and project updates. 
  • Thoroughly evaluates updates and reports, ensuring quality control through cross-checking information and references.  
  • Ensure that documents and communications adhere to bioMerieux writing guidelines, and are appropriately organized, stored, and shared with appropriate stakeholder groups in a timely fashion.  
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 Training and Education   

3+ years medical writing experience, Bachelor's degree in Science or Business or related field with a strength in medical writing preferred.   

Experience    

  • 2+ years of experience working in cross functional teams preferred 
  • Experience in office management or an administrative role preferred 
  • Experience with medical writing preferred 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities    

  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational acumen and time management to keep tasks and activities on track and according to schedule  
  • Effective verbal and written scientific and medical communication skills between team members and key stake holders across the organization  
  • Problem solving and adaptability required to be flexible and make adjustments as necessary   
  • Ability to work in a matrix with internal stakeholders  
  • Commitment to manage and adhere to all company policies, ensuring compliance to corporate rules and government regulations  
  • Expert with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams 
  • Familiarity with software and tools for managing databases of information  
  • Ability to collaborate demonstrating a sense of urgency in an evolving professional environment  

Approx. 5-10% domestic travel
