Description

Responsibilities:
This role will have some routine activities to reoccur over time, which may include:
  • Support demand managers in preparing the analysis in supporting monthly demand reviews and SO&P meetings and find opportunities to streamline the process to be more efficient and effective.
  • Support supply chain continuous improvement through on demand analytics, KPIs tracking and root causes analysis to improve performance. (OTIF, scrap, forecast accuracy, supply chain budget and transportation spend)
  • Creating training documentation for key Supply Chain business processes
  • Support supply chain operational activities as needed, and work with key supply chain personnel to identify and improve operational activities.
Potential Projects:
In addition to the above routine activities, a project(s) will be assigned to the intern which will vary depending on his or her specific skill sets and desires.
  • Develop an enhanced version of the Risk Tool to identify potential supply issues due to short shelf-life inventory, QA release delay, replenishment management etc.
  • Develop a robust process to efficiently audit freight charges to identify inconsistency and charge overages.
  • Develop a robust tool to monitor plant level forecast accuracy and identify NOTIF lines or potential stock issues due to plant level forecast split.
Studies and Experience:
Program requirements: Students currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized institution of higher learning, have reached Sophomore level status or later in school, and have a minimum of 3.0 GPA or above. It is recommended that each internship last a minimum of 8 weeks. For the right candidate, this intern opportunity may last through summer and Fall of 2024
If the internship will include access to the manufacturing areas of the company, the student must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must be Microsoft Office proficient.
  • SAP ECC or SAP APO DP knowledge is a plus.
  • Tableau experience preferred
  • An independent thinker
  • Self-motivated
  • A quicker learner
  • Effective communicator
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
  • Comfortable taking a lead in the internal project meetings.
  • Time management and the ability to multitask are important elements to the role
