IS Financial Controller - All genders

What will be your responsabilities?


The Global IS Controlling team is the business partner for the Global IS team and leads the performance monitoring and budget process for this function.

The team uses an end-to-end approach:

  • To be the financial partner for the IS teams
  • To ensure all IS financial rules are well followed in all subsidiaries
  • To secure proper functioning of cost chain: expenditure commitment, accounting, invoicing, allocation and their reporting
  • To perform/supervise all monthly closing tasks
  • To estimate all types of costs (activities, services, interco between subsidiaries)


Your missions within the IS controlling team:

  • Support one or more IS departments in a Business Partnering logic.
  • Budget control via expenditure authorization (OPEX & CAPEX) and monitoring of commitments.
  • Collection, consolidation and analysis of financial data relating to your scope (monthly dashboard in particular), understanding and control of the evolution of costs.  
  • Support the IS teams with reporting and analysis of activities (resources and expenditures) using the EXPLOR tool.
  • Propose concrete solutions and areas for improvement to optimize performance in order to reduce operating costs or deadlines.
  • Participate in budget development as part of the group budget process by declining budgets by department/country and relying on local finance resources and skills (USA, China).
  • Ensure that the financial rules and procedures are followed by the business and are in line with those of the group. 
  • Ensure correct allocation of IS costs within all group’s legal entities.


Who are you?

  • Master in finance or accounting, 7 years of experience in a finance or consulting department of an international company.
  • Ideally, you have already been able to face the challenges of an IS department : Costing/Pricing, OPEX/CAPEX, BUILD/RUN, management and evolution of an ABC analytical model (resources, activities, services drivers).
  • Expert user of Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word) is imperative as well as knowledge of SAP (any ABC ERP is a real plus).
  • Assertive, strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
