Position Summary
The Sr. Manager of Commercial Analytics is responsible for assisting in developing and executing the advanced analytics strategy, frameworks, and methodologies for the U.S. Commercial Operations teams. Ensuring the Commercial Analytics team provides strategic business insights and actionable recommendations in support of the product portfolio and brand objectives.
Primary Duties
· Supports the strategy, design, development, and maintenance of commercial analytics and support of
sales incentives platforms.
· Identify the right infrastructure and tools for advanced analytics solution delivery.
· Ensure timely delivery of data and proactively manage project timelines and deliverables.
· Understand the algorithms/methodologies related implications of analytics solutions and assist in defining the solutions to support any future business requirements.
· Manage expectations on timing and scope of project work, including budget and financial impact.
· Facilitate discussions with commercial analytics team and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data analytics concepts can be applied to real-world business opportunities.
· Recommend visualizations of data that empower key business stakeholders to easily interpret complex
information and quickly identify key insights.
· Mentor, coach, and develop talent of Commercial Data Analytics team.
· Provide support for business continuity of Commercial Data Analytics team.
· Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure of Commercial Analytics.
· Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Training and Education
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
5-7 years’ experience and proven track record in leading advanced analytics.
3-5 years of direct managerial experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. 5-7 years of expertise with technology systems and architectures, including SQL, CPQ, SFDC, PBI, Tableau or understanding large data architecture set-ups.
2. Experience with data infrastructure scoping and solution design
3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
4. 5-7 years of data analysis skills to gather and manipulate data to gain insights into trends, patterns, and relationships.
5. Ensure the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data is thorough and accurate.
6. Experience leading and supporting commercial focused analytics teams and systems.
Domestic travel required 25% of time
