Market Manager - IT Data

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:
 

The Market Manager is a downstream marketing role in Canada that operationalize the launch plan of products in all relevant segments. The Market Manager working closely with the sales team and by using appropriate communication channels while ensuring competitive differentiation by demonstrating the value of the solutions to commercial decision makers.

The Market Manager will partner with Global Marketing, Scientific & Clinical affairs and other cross-functional leads to demonstrate the impact of our solutions across the clinical, operational and economic needs of each target audience. This role requires deep expertise in market knowledge, customer segmentation, value-based commercial solutions creation and commercial execution expertise in the diagnostic field.

 

 

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Create commercial solution value offers that link to customer organizational objectives and market needs and ensure sustainable YoY revenue growth for the product portfolio.
  2. Through collaboration with the Global marketing team and the Product Manager continuously monitor and translate the Canadian market emerging trends into solutions development activities to deliver more relevant value propositions to commercial decision makers
  3. In partnership with Global Marketing, Product Manager, Sales, Medical Affairs and Market Access to create relevant customer communication/engagement tools that support access to senior decision makers across key Strategic commercial decision makers to create stronger partnerships and stimulate demand across the product
  4. Create innovative digital solutions to support the product value offers and drive the desired target audience buying behaviors supported by internal or external communication experts.
  5. Develop and implement goals, metrics and models to measure impact of specific marketing campaigns across all segments.
  6. Develop strategic yearly plans and budgets
  7. Develops relationships with Key Opinion leaders and commercial decision makers
  8. Understand Regulatory and Legal aspects of product promotion
  9. Assist in the RFP process
  10. Operationalize the launch plan
  11. Additional duties /responsibilities according to business needs

 

Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Mid-level 5+ years of relevant multifunctional commercial experience product management/marketing/sales experience.
  2. Experience in the diagnostics IVD industry preferred
  3. Results oriented; ability to design scalable solutions to address business questions and/or challenges; self-motivated and organized to successfully complete high-quality work projects on time; attentive to detail
  4. Ability to work across business lines and partner with various stakeholders to build consensus and achieve business results
  5. Strong customer-facing skills from needs identification to delivering executive business case presentation.
  6. Ability to lead and effectively collaborate across multiple marketing and sales organizations
  7. Strong analytical skills, with proven track record of creativity in problem solving and customer needs resolution
  8. Proficient customer facing skills at a senior management level and the ability to deliver impactful executive presentations. 
  9. Process oriented to seek details and data to quantify impact of continuous improvement for customer operational performance
  10. Expert knowledge of the xxxx segment, its challenges & solutions
  11. Experience in a matrix organization and the ability to influence beyond lines of direct control
  12. Experience in leading multi-cultural teams and building relationships
  13. Ability to travel (25%)
