The Executive Assistant & Communications Referent will be responsible for providing a high level of support to our Vice President Clinical Operations of the Europe & Middle East Region. In addition, as the Communications Referent, you will be responsible for executing communication campaigns to drive awareness of company brand and initiatives amongst the EME internal and external community. The position will reinforce employee engagement by increased communications internally as it relates to the company’s overall communications strategy for the EME Region and Corporate Communications.

 

This role will require some office presence at our site as well as 30% travel throughout the EME region accordingly.

 

What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

 

Executive Assistant

  • Manage and maintain the VP’s schedule, make travel arrangements as well as expense reimbursement
  • Ensure the complete or partial organization of events, meetings, congresses, and team building for the EME Region
  • Responsible for transversal business projects, take charge of complex business files in complete autonomy

 

Communications Referent

  • Partner with VP Human Resources EME and Global Communication to develop and execute strategy to further incorporate Corporate communication material into ongoing internal and external communication campaigns
  • Foster ongoing community awareness of bioMérieux and Corporate initiatives and employee engagement by leveraging internal partners such as EME Leadership Team, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
  • Design and implement local campaigns to address the specific needs at EME level
  • Tactical execution of internal communication through multichannel digital approach

 

Who are you?

 

Studies and experience:

  • Higher education: Degree BA/BS equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience minimum supporting Senior Leadership
  • Knowledge and experience in health care preferred
  • Knowledge of social media tools

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills in identifying the best content for each audience, writing in a clear and engaging way and choosing the best platform for each communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with project management experience, multi-task capability and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and matrix environment
  • Pro-active and passionate about work with the “can do and must do better” attitude, highly motivated and results driven, ability to demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
  • Customer centric mindset and problem-solving abilities and comfort in providing open, honest feedback, high level of confidentiality
  • Building strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to learn and build skills
