Position Summary:

bioMerieux is looking for a Sourcing Specialist – known as a Talent Sourcing & Engagement Partner within the company. This Talent Sourcing & Engagement Partner works as a member of the Talent Acquisition team to identify talent pools, develop sourcing strategies, and to build talent communities and pipelines to meet company-wide staffing goals related to a variety of manufacturing and facilities roles (i.e. manufacturing, facilities, quality assurance, and engineering). This position will leverage multiple recruiting software systems, sourcing techniques, and review applicants.  In addition to sourcing

This position will be responsible for
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines bioMerieux
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with assigned hiring teams and candidates
  • Lead recruitment activities for a variety of roles throughout the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess organizational needs, define roles and requirements, and execute talent acquisition strategies
  • Effectively manage the hiring process, including tracking the status and progress of open requisitions and candidates in process
  • Responsible for coordinating assigned recruiting related projects and initiatives, i.e. community outreach events, pipeline development, data analytics, diversity, etc.
  • Assist in the development of interview questions and templates for use company-wide
  • Aid in the development and execution of strategic sourcing and recruiting plans for your assigned departments
  • Maintain familiarity to all applicable laws governing the recruiting and hiring process
  • Review, screen, and interview candidates for experience, skills, and knowledge with regards to job description requirements and business needs
  • Extend and negotiate offers with candidates
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience through responsive communication and managing candidate engagement
  • Ensure proper documentation of all hiring activities in compliance with OFCCP and EEO standards
  • Collaborate effectively with hiring teams to expedite the talent selection and offer process 
  • Maintaining database of candidate contact information and interest
We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience or in lieu high school diploma/GED with 2 plus years’ experience with talent sourcing and/or recruiting coordinator experience
      • Degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred
    • Experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources preferred
    • Demonstrate ability to recruit candidates for wide variety of positions and skill sets
  • Essential skills: 
    • Must be adept with the use of social media platforms and applicant tracking systems (experience with Jobvite or SuccessFactors is a plus)
    • Previous experience in a staffing agency or manufacturing roles is preferred, although not required
    • Ideal candidates will be extremely detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships, both within and outside of the organization.  We are looking for a highly creative individual who is able to manage multiple tasks and priorities at a time while maintaining the strictest confidentiality.
    • Excellent organizational skills and follow through
    • Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs. and travel up to 10% of the time
