Description

Must be available to be onsite in St. Louis through December 2024 and available to work 30-40 hrs/week.
- Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test medical equipment, devices, and systems. Your goal will be to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers to create innovative solutions according to specifications.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in rigorous testing of products to ensure safety and efficacy before deployment.
- Manufacturing Support: Monitor the entire manufacturing process, from concept design to product implementation. Activities include designing product improvements, developing evaluation methods, coordinating initial production, and creating manufacturing diagrams.
Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be actively pursuing a BS or MS degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering.
- Adept in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using CAD tools (e.g. Altium, NX, PTC Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks), simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, Spice circuit analysis, CFD, FEA), and/or IDE tools and code repositories (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity).
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- No previous engineering work experience is required.
