Description

Position Summary:

Strategically manage activities associated with Middleware and Analytics Project Management to effectively deliver Data & IT solutions to ensure world class technical customer service is delivered for all internal and external customers on all diagnostic test systems marketed by bioMérieux.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Middleware and Analytics Project Managers through system implementation and deployment processes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, drive revenue growth, and effectively deliver bioMérieux Data & IT solutions. 
  • Manage and drive day-to-day business operations to ensure alignment with corporate policies, successful execution, and completion of projects by established deadlines through cross-functional collaboration and provide risk mitigation measures for projects at risk. 
  • Lead the development of project management strategy, including project management templates, to align with all aspects of the corporate business objectives. 
  • Ensure proper training and development is provided for employees. Motivate direct reports and other department members to achieve goals and objectives through individual coaching and staff meetings. 
  • Mentor and assist in the professional development of all project managers. 
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, Business Management, Healthcare, IS/IT, Biomedical, or related field. 
    • Minimum of 3 years’ technical service experience in medical equipment, computer networking, IT/IS, networking, or project management.
    • 2 years demonstrated leadership experience preferred, including ability to lead/manage projects and tasks assigned by management. 
    • 2 years expertise in solution deployment in the IVD or biotech industry preferred. 
  • Experience with systems marketed by bioMérieux is preferred. 
  • Broad knowledge of Healthcare IT practices and principles. 
  • Ability to lead/manage projects and tasks assigned by management. 
  • Ability to write and maintain technical and non-technical instructions in the use of programs/reports and/or program/report/modifications, in addition to presenting results as needed. 
  • Excellent planning and strong organizational, communication and project management skills.
